Dear Pastor and Supporters,

My Report covers July, August and September. All Glory belongs to The Lord. And, I want to Give Him Glory and Praise for His using one man in such a marvelous way. That man’s name is Mark Hill. He has been greatly used to help many national Pastors here in Cambodia and Yours’ Truly.
He has helped our national Pastors with support and special gifts for land, buildings, and other ministry tools for the last 4 years. If I mentioned all the various help that he has sent our way, it would require much more space than I have on this paper.
Last July, Pastor Pich and his wife Rady lost their 7 year daughter to a sudden illness. I remembered both sitting in our class at the Cambodian Baptist Bible College. I recall when they were married and later began their Church and many ministries. There on a little straw mat lay their beautiful daughter. Pastor Pich’s reaction was amazing. He lifted his hands toward heaven and declared in Khmer...” The Lord Gives and the Lord takes away, Blessed be the name of the LORD”. And then he and his wife sang in Khmer, It is well with my soul, Oh my. That was very sad to witness and allowed me to see deeper the faith of our Cambodian brethren, but what followed was beyond anything I could have imagined.
Brother Mark, asked what he could do for Pastor Pich and his wife’s grief. Pich said he wanted to see many get saved. So, Mark and him planned a Sport Fest. We had over 600 teens attend a 3 day fest. I was happy to preach and we saw over 230 come to make a public profession of Faith in Jesus Christ as their savior and Lord.
In August, we completed our boat and have seen over 26 salvations and have planned several out reaches from October through December. In all our Mission Churches we have seen hundreds of salvations in the last 4 months. Also, in August ,Margaret and I, went to our Mission in Udong . Pastor Simon allowed me the privilege to Baptize the first batch of adult converts. (12 in all). Again, Brother Mark came to their rescue and purchased land for their Mission Church.
September was by far most joyous because we began a new ministry. The same man, Mark Hill, gave the money to buy our boat, also gave us money to purchase 3 sets of large boxes, each having a Video Projector, DVD Player, Sound System, Screen, and generator. We called together 14 National Pastors and organized 3 teams and filled our calendar for the next 3 months. We will take the Jesus Movie into 27 different places. Just as a trial run, we went to one of our Mission Churches in Kandal. On a late Thursday Evening we had over 250 adults and children sit patiently and intently as they watched and listened to The Gospel of our Creator, who still loves fallen man and in His mercy and great love sent Jesus to die for our sins. They saw the story of his resurrection and his coming again to judge the world. The message is so very clear. Praise the Lord, we saw over 150 salvations. I am excited to see what will happen in the next 3 months as we take this movie to thousands on the River ways and land throughout Cambodia.
